Task analysis is the process of analyzing the behavior and cognition that users need to achieve in order to achieve their goals. Through task analysis, we can further understand the user's goals and connect the content and functional organization of the product in series, thereby helping to establish the product process and judging the primary-secondary relationship of the content, ultimately guiding the user to a better experience and completion.
Practical task analysis is inseparable from previous user research, and the basis of the study is enough information. When analyzing, we must always pay attention to user-centered, maintain the user's perspective, and avoid artificial subjective assumptions.
It should be noted that task analysis is not a one-time job. As the design continues to iterate, task analysis must continue to collect fresh blood.
The input and analysis of data easily remind me of automation. This pseudo artificial intelligence without independent thinking ability. Engineers use big data to analyze common problems and give a systematic answer to input into artificial intelligence.
The path planning of the robot is to give targeted general answers according to different situations. For now, artificial intelligence is still only a tool to help solve problems and cannot independently innovate and overcome emergencies.
With the aid of technology, human beings are not satisfied with a human-like tool and want to create thoughtful tools. Meanwhile, mechanical design has emerged that strengthens human beings, such as augmented eternity and so on. But which side brought their results first? Let us wait and see.

Human Augmentation

Hi Liheng, great blog! I love that you mention that a task analysis is not a one-time thing! Updates are so important especially when designing something complicated.
